• Assessed competence – my qualifications, technical knowledge, working practices and workmanship have been assessed by NAPIT.

• Compliant electrical work – installations are completed in accordance with BS 7671 and other applicable safety requirements.

• Proper testing and certification – customers receive the appropriate Electrical Installation Certificate, Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate or Electrical Installation Condition Report.

• Building Regulations compliance – where domestic electrical work is notifiable under Part P, I can notify it through NAPIT so the customer receives a separate Building Regulations Compliance Certificate.

• Appropriate insurance – NAPIT-certified businesses are required to maintain the relevant insurance cover.
